CADS PRODUCTIONS

CADS currently put on a production each year somewhere around the beginning of March. Our presentation take various forms from Shows. Variety, Plays - some more serious than others. Our aim is to make each production different to any previous ones - not always possible - and from time to time we use scripts penned by our own members. To find scripts for us to perform is an ongoing challenge and there is a constant need to research what is available - to see how we go about this CLICK HERE.

CHRISTMAS IN CLATFORD

When CADS started following the millennium we appreciated the support given to us by our audiences. In the year 2005 we thought that we would like to say 'Thank you' to the village by inviting them to mince pies and mulled wine at Christmas. At the same time we thought the Christmas Spirit could be enhanced by Christmas readings and carols.

This has now become a popular annual event on the nearest Monday to Christmas

THEATRE TRIPS

Mayflower, Salisbury Playhouse, Royal Theatre Winchester, Watermill, The Lights are all theatres CADS have visited and watch for up and coming plays, shows etc that we as a group might enjoy.

We may even learn something from them!

VILLAGE FETE

The Goodworth Clatford Village Fete and Garden Show is a regular fixture in the CADS calendar. We have a well known stall 'Wheel of Fortune' and sometimes 'Find Your Way'.

This is a great event and raises some money for St Peter's Church and a little for ourselves.

VILLAGE QUIZ

Another regular event but a bit more challenging is entering the Village Quiz. We haven't yet manage to win it (or come last) but we're working on it.

PS - we have just won this year - December 2017!!

SOCIAL

There are certain times CADS must take their mind of learning lines and putting on a show - this is 'Party Time'.

Our social calendar includes: a party at the end of a show: A party when we watch back the video of our last show: and, of course, a Christmas Party - usually and a nearby pub.
