Workshop Evening
Friday 14 th November we have invited an expert from The Theatre Royal Winchester to give us a workshop n 'Characterisation, Performance, Skills and Techniques' related to our panto . We think this will help us a lot so can you make every effort to be there!
Loft
Chris has done a grand job preparing the new loft for our use and we shall start moving costumes this week.
Film Night
Saturday 22 nd November we are having a re-run the 'The Golden Lobster Awards'. We will run this as a typical after show party ie . it will be an American Supper where members bring a 'plate and a bottle'.
Quiz Night
The Village Club are holding a Quiz Night on Saturday 6 th December starting at 7 for 7.30 with food at 8.30. We have entered 2 teams.

Christmas in Clatford
Rehearsals for this are Friday 12 th and Monday 15 th December with the main event on Monday 22 nd December.
Christmas Dinner
7 for 7.30 pm on Friday 19 th December - the arrangements we be as usual and, for those who don't know, this means we will draw tickets for where we sit for the first and main courses (this is arranged on a boy/girl basis) and we draw tickets again for puds and entertainment. This year I might try something different for entertainment so watch this space. Theatre Trip to Basingstoke
We are off to see Aladdin at the Anvil on 3 rd January 2009 - transport arrangements yet to be made.
AGM
Yes, those dreaded initials A G M. on Friday 9 th January 2009. Normal form - we will have the reports of Chairman and Treasurer the elections. Nominations will be taken on the night followed by any necessary voting. We hope to have time to discuss future events like 'what shall we do at the fete' and 'what sort of show do we want to put on in November'.
Aladdin
Rehearsals are just beginning to take shape and can you please bear in mind that any absences affect others not just yourself. It is hoped that starting in January most of your lines will have been learnt and that scripts will be replaced by the prompter!!!!
Helen has kindly volunteered to be 'Prop-Master' so if you use a prop at anytime please liaise with Helen and she will make sure that it is available.
DVD's and Videos
Should you want a dvd or video of the last or previous show - J's the man to talk to.
Lastly - Have I forgotten anything? Probably.
