Time is slipping by and we are looking forward to the new season starting on Friday the 5 th of September. Alan is beavering away at the pantomime 'Aladdin' we are performing on 6 th and 7 th March next year!
VILLAGE SHOW AND FETE
But before that we have the Village Annual Garden Show and Fete on 25 th August - Bank holiday Monday. As usual we are manning the 'Wheel of Fortune', 'Find Your Way' and allowing folks to be photographed with the Dalek and Cyberman !! (NO, Ben and Peter won't be inside them).
The fete opens at 1pm. We will be setting up at 10.30 and any help will be welcomed. The hog roast is opening at 12 noon to allow helpers to 'eat 'n' stay'. We have been asked to have our events ready by 12.45 so I am hoping, as in previous years, that some of you can come and be ready to run the stall at the start and that some of you can takeover at somewhere between 2.30 and 3pm. This year they have placed us against the tennis court fence which will be a great help to us.

THEATRE TRIP
You may remember that some of us went to the Theatre Royal Winchester to see the Southampton Musical society in 'Seven Brides'. Well they are at it again with 'Me and My Girl' on 23 rd to 25 th September - if anyone is interested in going as a group to this will they please let me know so we can make arrangements.
